Yes they are Racist. With that said, I am with President Clinton when he says the opposition to health care reform is not racism. I think the opposition to health care reform is "classism". the rich and well off do not want reform - they do not need it! Why should they contribute to something (via taxes) that they do not need? Hmmmm - good question . . .
Maybe they should protest their contribution to the police and fire departments too - if they have never needed the response to their house, why should they pay?
How about those of us without children? Why should we contribute to the school system? What if I do not ever drive in a certain area of the state? Why should I contribute to the betterment of the roads there?
BECAUSE: We are a society, a community, we MUST all contribute to the betterment of all areas of our community - that must include the health of our citizens!
